Mission Statement
In our project, we plan to explore several aspects of hunting in the state of Vermont. To gain a proper understanding of the societal impacts, we will be delving into several sub-topics within this general concept: ethics, management, education, and policy. In order to accomplish this, we plan to interview individuals who both support and oppose the practice. This may include, but is not limited to: hunters, hunter-safety educators, state biologists and game wardens, state politicians, and hunting opponents. Along with interviews, we plan to generate and circulate a survey throughout the campus gauging the opinions of our peers. By the end of the project we hope to better understand the ethics of hunting.
